From the mouths of babes!
Just yesterday Dave and I were at Costco to pick up just a few items. Dave was out in the car for the first few minutes so I was browsing with my two little grandchildren.
Oaklee, who is turning 4 in June, is having a Princess birthday party. Oaklee spotted a princess dress and we stopped to take a look to see if they had her size. Before I found her size and while I was digging through the stack Oaklee preceded to pick up an old cellphone that she plays with and pretend she was calling her grandpa SuperDave (who remember was out in the car on a phone call) saying with excitement and with a cute little giggle “Grandpa it’s a miracle, this dress is beautiful and grandma found my size, I can’t believe it, it’s a miracle”. Notice she didn’t even wait to see if I found her size, she knew I would.
Excitement is sooo contagious! As she was showing so much excitement my grandson Oliver, who is 3, also started giggling and wanted to use the pretend cell phone to tell grandpa SuperDave the miracle to! He was sooo excited for her and wanted in on the celebration to, to celebrate Oaklee’s miracle!
Think about when we listen to a child. Their dreams are real and miracles are possible and happen everyday! Stop and really listen to a child, they can get you dreaming, smiling and excited about the small miracles in life that are all around us!
Big dream’n starts with the little miracles that are all around us everyday. Realizing and showing gratitude for all the little miracles in our lives, and being excited to find new miracles everyday , all the while being excited in celebrating the miracles of others!
